MDS 3.0 Review & Competency Testing
The Alliance Training Center and Executive Director, Leah Klusch, RN, BSN, FACHCA is proud to offer the MDS 3.0 2-day Review and Competency Testing
This 1 ½ day review covers six areas, moving from basic PPS information connecting the MDS to the federal reimbursement system to the assessment process, including the calculation of ADL scores and their impact as well as the actual completion of the MDS tool in the care planning process. There is an optional 2-hr exam at the end of the second day which includes case studies. Candidates must achieve 80% or higher on the test in order to pass. The course has associated continuing education hours for nurses, administrators, and other interdisciplinary team members.
